Business Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to all of our customers when conducting business with us.
Any work carried out by CB Heat Limited will become null & void if the work completed is subject to misuse or negligence. It shall also be null & void if repaired, modified or tampered with by anyone other than an engineer from CB Heat Limited.
CB Heat Limited will accept no liability for, or guarantee suitability; materials supplied by the client and will accept no liability for any consequential damage or fault. CB Heat Limited reserves the right to charge for any additional time incurred at our standard hourly rate (£65/hr)
All materials supplied and installed will remain the property of CB Heat Limited until payment is received in full for the agreed sum or money charged for works undertaken.
Work is guaranteed only in respect of work directly undertaken by CB Heat Limited and payment in full has been made. Any non-related faults arising from recommended work which has not been undertaken by CB Heat will not be guaranteed.
CB Heat Limited shall not be held liable or responsible for any damage or defect resulting from work not fully guaranteed or where recommended work has not been carried out.
The client shall be solely liable for any hazardous situation in respect of Gas Safe regulations or Gas warning notice issued.
Where CB Heat Limited agrees to carry out works on installations of inferior quality or over 10 years old at the date, no warranty is given in respect of such works and CB Heat Limited accepts no liability in respect of the effectiveness of such works or otherwise.
CB Heat Limited shall only be liable for rectifying works completed by CB Heat Limited and shall not be held responsible for ensuring damage or claims resulting in this or other work overlooked, or subsequently requested and not undertaken at that time.
Although CB Heat Limited accepts employer’s liability for it’s employees and for sub-contractors, the customer is under a duty as owner or occupier of the site to take reasonable steps to ensure the ordinary safety and security of the site and to advise CB Heat Limited of any circumstance which might affect Health & Safety.
CB Heat Limited will ensure the area of work is left in a safe and reasonably clean and tidy condition on a daily basis.
All guarantees will be registered on the client’s behalf once payment is received in full for the parts and materials used.
CB Heat Limited views complaints as an opportunity to learn and improve for the future, as well as a chance to put things right for the person or organisation that has made the complaint.

Definition of a Complaint
A complaint is any expression of dissatisfaction, whether justified or not, about any aspect of CB Heat Limited.
Where Complaints Come From
Complaints may come from any person or organisation who has a legitimate interest in CB Heat Limited. A complaint can be received verbally, by phone or by email.
All complaint information will be handled sensitively, telling only those who need to know and following any relevant data protection requirements.
Overall responsibility for this policy and its implementation lies with the Managing Directors.
Hourly Rate Work:
The Client shall only be charged for the time spent relating to the clients work. That includes travelling time to source materials and parts needed when emergency / same day repair is being carried out. Charges calculated on a basis of per or parts of any hour. All rates are non-negotiable.
Quotations issued are a fixed cost (unforeseen circumstances exempt) include Labour and Materials and are charged at the current VAT rate at the date of invoice.
On acceptance of quotations a 30% deposit is required, with full payment due on completion of works detailed in the quotations, unless otherwise agreed with the client and CB Heat Limited.
Where a quotation is provided every effort will be made to supply the quantity, quality and description of the goods supplied and any specification for them shall be as set out in the quotation.
Quotations are valid for a period of 30 days from date of issue.
30% deposit is required on the overall price on acceptance of the quotation prior to the commencement of the work.
Payment is due on completion of works, unless agreed otherwise by CB Heat Limited to the client at the time of proceeding with any quotations issued.
The customer is not entitled to withhold payment in full by reason of minor defects which can be remedied under a snagging procedure. CB Heat Limited will rectify these within a reasonable time of notification taking into account the obtaining of any necessary replacement parts. This does not affect your statutory rights.
